30 Books in 30 Weeks

All God's Children: The Bosket Family and the American Tradition of Violence by Fox Butterfield

There are currently less than 30 weeks left in this year, so I decided to challenge myself to read 30 books. As this blog shows me, we change as readers over the years. What and who we read and even if we read. Thanks to quarantine life, I’ve seen every movie and series that I once enjoyed at least twice. But how about them books though? I can’t even think of the last full fiction novel I read to the end.

To support my new efforts, I opened my Bookly app back up (not sponsored). It tracks my reading, goals, and it even tells me how long it should take for me to complete a book at my current pace.

The hard part about reading is the decision of what to read next. I found my current read on Tupac’s book list years ago, believe it or not. Since I couldn’t dig up much information on the book, I decided to gather what I could find here on my blog. It still exists, so why not? Hope you don’t mind.

In the meantime, is anybody familiar with Willie Bosket, Jr? Back with more details once I knock out these last 3.5 hours of reading (I wouldn’t know that without Bookly). More on what’s next on my list too. Stay tuned.

Depending on what book’s on your list–happy reading, y’all.
